Rooibos from Cloudskraal Farms
A direct trade channel from the farm that publishes this site: the grades and bulk packaging on offer, the terms, and one person to talk to. This is a trade pilot: enquiries are answered by Alex Nel, not by an order system.
Each button opens your own email app or WhatsApp with a draft enquiry; nothing is sent until you press send there.
Who is selling
Cloudskraal Farms grows and supplies rooibos. Export orders are handled through Tiquimani. Your contact for both is Alex Nel, who also operates this site. The library on Rooibos World is written to be useful whoever you buy from; this page is the one place on the site that sells something.
Grades on offer
- Export fines
- Export espresso superfines
- Export loose tea blend
- Rooibos sticks
Grade names are the farm's own. Ask for the written specification behind the grade you are interested in, with cut length and moisture, before you compare it with anyone else's. The grades page explains why.
Bulk packaging
- 40 kg nylon bags
- 350 kg FIB bags
- 20 kg paper bags
Bulk only. Say which size suits your handling and storage, and ask how bags are sealed and palletised for your route.
Terms
A deposit, then the balance before dispatch. Quotations are given per enquiry for a specific grade, quantity, packaging and destination; none is published here, and neither is current availability. Both come in a reply from Alex Nel.
How to enquire
Write by email or by WhatsApp. Either link below opens your own app with a short draft already filled in: grade, quantity and frequency, packaging, destination and timing. Nothing is sent until you press send yourself, and you can edit or discard the draft first.
- Email Alex Nel at alexnelja@outlook.com. Opens your email app.
- WhatsApp Alex Nel on +27 83 287 5602. Opens WhatsApp in a new window or app.
If you would rather prepare a fuller brief first, the brief builder writes one in your browser and can hand it to the same email or WhatsApp with one click.
What a pilot means
This channel is new and small. Replies come from one person, Alex Nel. Samples, quotations and timing are discussed per enquiry. The same offer, standing alone, is at tearooibos.com.
